Area restaurants will donate a percentage of their sales Sunday and Tuesday to benefit Akron Children’s Hospital of the Mahoning Valley.

From 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Boardman Quaker Steak and Lube, 435 Boardman-Poland Road, will donate 15 percent of every sale.

All Bob Evans restaurants in Mahoning, Trumbull, Columbiana, Mercer and Lawrence counties will donate 15 percent of every sale to the children’s hospital from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday.

In addition, kids will eat free Tuesdays at all area Bob Evans with the purchase of an adult entree.

Customers must present a special flier at the time of purchase at Bob Evans or Quaker Steak and Lube.

Fliers may be downloaded from the events calendar at www.akronchildrens.org/mv, on the Miracles and Promises Radiothon Facebook page, or from Kelsey Moreton at 330-746-8726.

All proceeds from the restaurants will be presented during the sixth-annual Mix 98.9 Miracles & Promises Radiothon, which will take place from Sept. 17-19 on the hospital’s Beeghly campus, 6505 Market St., in Boardman.
