ASSOCIATIONS

Tri-Gold Chapter of American Business Women’s Association will meet Aug. 13 at A La Cart Catering in Canfield. The social will begin at 5:30 p.m., and dinner will be served at 6. The speaker for the evening will be Missy Williams, librarian at the Poland Library. The topic will be the history of Poland and the Poland Library. The menu will be stuffed shells, baked chicken, baked white fish, rice pilaf, green beans with mushroom cream sauce, tossed salad, tomato with green pepper salad and bean salad and an ice cream sundae. Trumbull Retired Teachers Association will meet at noon Aug. 12 at Ciminero’s in Niles. The group meets the second Tuesday of the month, bimonthly.

CLASSES

Campbell Memorial High School January and June Classes of 1948 will meet for breakfast at 9:30 a.m. Monday at Denny’s Restaurant on Route 224 in Boardman. All classmates and spouses are invited.

Campbell Memorial High School January and June Classes of 1950 will meet at noon Wednesday for lunch at Bedford Trails Golf Course.

Campbell Memorial Class of 1955 will meet at 10 a.m. Saturday at What’s Cookin’ in the Mathews Road Plaza in Boardman for its monthly breakfast. Class members, spouses and guests are welcome.

Chaney High School Class of 1948 will meet at 1 p.m. Aug. 12 at Denny’s in Austintown for a luncheon. All are welcome.

Woodrow Wilson High School Class of 1951 will meet for breakfast at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Landmark Restaurant, 7424 Market St., Boardman. Classmates and guests are invited.

CLUBS

Warren Women’s Connection will meet from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Aug. 11 at DiLucia’s Banquet Room, 2610 Elm Road NE, Warren. The cost is $13 each, and child care is free. The program will be “Off to the Market” featuring Valley Market Place with Ron Coehn. Youngstown Area Weavers Guild will meet Saturday at Firestone Park in Columbiana for its annual spin in. Members will demonstrate spinning, weaving, chair caning and lace making and will answer questions on fiber arts and the techniques used. There will be samples of finished work on display. Members should arrive between 8 and 10 a.m. to set up. Take your wheels, looms, spindles, bobbin lace, caning, a comfortable chair and a table to display samples. St. Lucy Cultural Society of Christ, the Good Shepherd Church, 394 Tenney Ave., Campbell, will meet for its monthly meeting at 7 p.m. Monday at the church to finalize plans for the Feast of the Assumption celebration on Aug. 15 starting with a Mass at 5:30 p.m. and followed by a procession and benediction in the church. Alzheimer Network Family Support Group will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday. at Zion Reformed United Church of Christ, 260 Main St., Greenville, Pa., and at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Children’s Rehabilitation Center, 855 Howard-Wilson Road; Howland.
