Free fishing days this weekend

COLUMBUS

Ohioans are encouraged to take advantage of “Free Fishing Days” this weekend.

For those two days, Ohioans may fish in any of the state’s public waters without having to buy a fishing license.

After that, anglers age 16 and older must have a valid license to take fish, frogs or turtles from Ohio waters.

An Ohio license costs $19 a year for residents.
