Bond set for Campbell man who faces drug charges

CAMPBELL — Bond was set for a 45-year-old city man arrested late Monday on a warrant and charged with possession of drugs and drug paraphernalia.

Frank Consiglio of Courtland Avenue faces a felony drug-possession charge, which resulted from police finding a bag of suspected crack cocaine in his possession. Bond was set at $5,000 after his appearance Tuesday in Campbell Municipal Court.

He also faces a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia and failure to appear in court last year to answer to charges including driving under suspension and having expired plates.

Consiglio posted bond today, police said. He was arrested about 9:30 p.m. Monday after officers on patrol on Coitsville Road identified and stopped him because of the warrant.
