Jury recommends death penalty for Willie Wilks

YOUNGSTOWN

A Mahoning County Common Pleas jury this evening recommended Willie Wilks get the death penalty.

The man jurors convicted earlier this month of killing a woman, and trying to kill two other people, had asked members of that same jury to see him as a human being.

Willie Wilks, 42, of Elm Street, also denied killing 20-year-old Ororo Wilkins last May on a Park Avenue porch on the North Side.
