Auction will benefit Eyes for Olivia

SALEM

Lions Club District 13-D is sponsoring a quarter auction titled Eyes for Olivia for a young girl who has degenerative retinal disease. It will take place May 9 at the Salem Memorial Building gymnasium, 785 E. State St. The doors will open at 6 p.m., and the auction will begin at 7.

Admission is $5 per person for adults only and includes one numbered bidding paddle. Items are given a value from one to four quarters. When an item that you want comes up, lift your paddle and pay the required number of quarters. If your number is drawn, you win. Take your own quarters.
