Ruminski will speak about furnaces

Mineral Ridge Historical Society will feature Clayton Ruminski, who will speak about two historical furnaces in Mineral Ridge, at 7 p.m. Thursday at Weathersfield Township Building, 1451 Prospect St.

Clayton has a master’s degree in history and historic preservation from Youngstown State University.

He will be releasing a book, “From Iron to Steel: The Transformation of the Iron Industry in Ohio’s Mahoning Valley, 1845-1967.”
