GMO discussion planned at DiLucia’s

The Trumbull County Farm Bureau and the League of Women Voters of Trumbull County will host “Farmed and Confused: The GMO and Non-GMO Discussion,” at noon May 15 at DiLucia’s Banquet Room, 2610 Elm Road.

Doors will open at 11:45 a.m.

A panel of local farmers and experts will discuss GMO and non-GMO practices and will take questions from the audience.

The Trumbull County Farm Bureau will provide a buffet lunch, which will be free to Farm Bureau members, who must show their membership card at the door. Nonmembers pay a $5 fee at the door.
