Campbell cops arrest four people on drug-related charges

CAMPBELL

City police arrested four people on drug-related charges late Thursday and

early Friday.

At 5:14 p.m. Thursday, police stopped a truck on Sixth Street for repeatedly

failing to signal its turns. A search of the car produced a small plastic

bag containing suspected marijuana, along with a cigarette pack

containing $22 that was also taken as evidence.

Both the driver -- Vincent Ross Hill, 23, of Sanderson Avenue in Campbell --

and his passenger -- Phillip Estil Cooper, 20, of Devitt Avenue in

Youngstown -- were charged with possession of drugs and drug paraphernalia.

They are set to appear in Campbell Municipal Court on Friday.

At 12:18 a.m. Friday, police stopped a car on Struthers-Liberty Road for

again failing to signal its turns.

The driver -- Jonathan Sarna, 40, of Perry Street in Struthers -- did not

consent to a search of his car, so a police dog sniffed the car, alerting

police to a crack pipe and push rod in the car.

Both Sarna and his passenger -- Darin W. Davis, 47, of Martin Luther King

Jr. Boulevard in Youngstown -- were charged with possession of drug

paraphernalia, and are set to appear in Campbell Municipal Court on Tuesday.

Sarna also was cited for failing to signal before turning and for having

several objects hanging from his rear view mirror.
