AT&T offers new service in Youngstown, Warren
Staff report
YOUNGSTOWN
AT&T announced that home-automation technology is coming to Youngstown and Warren, as the company marks the one-year anniversary of its Digital Life package.
Digital Life allows customers to use their smartphone or tablet to interact with their homes by remotely unlocking doors, controlling lights and adjusting thermostats, among other things.
In honor of the anniversary, AT&T is waiving upfront fees — including standard equipment and installation — to customers who sign up for the package today.
The company said in a press lease Thursday that new infrastructure in this area made the expansion into Youngstown and Warren possible.
Customers will be able to purchase Digital Life and to access a live demonstration at company-owned retail stores, online at www.att.com/digitallife, or by calling 855-288-2727.
Digital Life is now available in 75 markets nationwide.
