Preschool will host spring craft show

LISBON

The Lisbon Montessori Preschool, 233 E. Washington St., will host a free Spring Into Education Craft Show from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at the Columbiana County Career and Technical Center, 9364 Ohio Route 45.

More than 40 venders will be featured, and a light lunch will be served. There will be children’s games, crafts, a basket raffle and more. Children can explore the basics of the Montessori principle at a mini-session education table.

Montessori believes that children develop best when they explore according to their individual curiosities and at their own pace, and they are taught the importance of individual responsibility and cooperation in learning.

The school will host an open house from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday for interested parents, who will have the opportunity to speak with other parents and teachers.
