Unique tastes of the Valley offered Sunday at Tyler History Center

YOUNGSTOWN — Memorable Meals Mahoning Valley, an event celebrating foods unique to the Mahoning Valley, will be 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the Tyler History Center, 325 W. Federal St.

Organized by Grow Youngstown and the Mahoning Valley Historical Society, Memorable Meals will feature the area’s ethnic food heritages and traditions, celebrate family meals and foods of local restaurants, and connect the local food trend with the Valley’s agricultural roots.

Tickets are $40 per person and can be purchased at the history center, Arms Family Museum, or online at www.growyoungstown.org or www.mahoninghistory.org.

Proceeds support the historical society’s new education and community outreach programs and Grow Youngstown’s subsidized-share program.
