TODAY

Boar’s Head Ladies of St. John’s Episcopal Church, 323 Wick Ave., Youngstown, will serve a chicken dinner from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the church. The meal includes mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans, salad, bread and butter, pie and a beverage. The cost is $7. No reservations are necessary. THURSDAY

Col. Louis J. Campbell VFW Post 3538, 157 Lowellville Road, Struthers, will serve spaghetti dinners from 4 to 7 p.m. Meals will include meatballs, salad, bread and butter, and coffee. The cost is $6.50 for adults and $3 for children under 8. Carryout orders are $7 and will be available only until 6 p.m. Containers will be provided.

FRIDAY

American Legion Post 737, 16465 Milton Ave., Lake Milton, will serve the following meals from 3 to 7 p.m.: all-you-can-eat fried fish with french fries or macaroni and cheese, coleslaw, rolls and beverage; chicken with fries, coleslaw, rolls and beverage; and shrimp with fries, coleslaw, rolls and beverage. Each meal is $8.50 for adults, $5 for children under 12 and free for those 3 and under. A fish sandwich with fries and coleslaw is $7, and a fish sandwich only is $5.

Holy Trinity Serbian Orthodox Church, 53 Laird Ave., Youngstown, will serve fish dinners from 3:30 to 7 p.m. at the church hall. The menu will consist of baked or fried Icelandic cod or fried haddock; sides of Spanish rice, haluski, macaroni and cheese, french fries or string beans (choose two); coleslaw or applesauce; bread and butter; and coffee or tea. The cost is $10 for adults and $5 for children. Dessert will be an additional $1.50. Containers will be provided for takeouts. Orders will be accepted from 11 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. at 330-792-1005.

SATURDAY

Braceville United Methodist Church, 589 Park Road SW, Newton Falls, will serve a stuffed pork chop dinner from 4 to 6:30 p.m., or until gone. The menu includes mashed potatoes, green beans, corn, coleslaw, applesauce, dessert, bread and coffee, tea or punch. Adult dinners are $9, and dinners for children are $3.50. Takeouts will be available.

New Hope United Methodist Church, 21 Fairview Ave., Niles, will host a community breakfast from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Free clothing will be distributed during the breakfast.

North Lima Mennonite Church, 90 Mennonite Drive, will serve an all-you-can-eat breakfast buffet from 7 to 10 a.m. for a donation. The menu consists of eggs, pancakes, french toast, sausage, potatoes, homemade rolls, sausage gravy and biscuits, peppers and mushrooms, coffee, orange juice and other beverages. SUNDAY

Auxiliary of the Oblate Sisters of Sacred Heart of Jesus, 50 Warner Road, Hubbard, will sponsor a spaghetti dinner and basket auction from 1 to 4 p.m. in the Teresa Casini Hall. Tickets are $8 for adults and $5 for children under 12 and can be purchased at the door.

Our Lady of the Lakes Men’s Club is sponsoring a spaghetti dinner from noon to 4 p.m. in the church hall, 50 Rosemont Road, North Jackson. Dinners are $7.50 for adults and $4.50 for children 11 and under. Salad, homemade dessert and beverages are included; carryout will be available.

Our Lady of Sorrows Parish at Sts. Cyril and Methodius Church will host a spaghetti dinner from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the social hall, 252 E. Wood St., Youngstown. The meal will include two meatballs, salad, bread and butter, cake and coffee or tea. Tickets are $7 for adults and $4.50 for children 12 and under. Extra meatballs and pop or bottled water are 50 cents each. Takeout will be available, and containers are provided at no charge. Quarts of chicken noodle and potato dumpling soups and vanilla and anise pizzelles will be for sale.

Southington American Legion Post will serve a pancake breakfast from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the post home, 3145 Warren-Burton Road. Donations are $6.50 for adults and $4 for children under 12; those under 4 eat for free. Pancakes and sausage or biscuits with gravy will be available. This is the last sale of the season.

St. Lucy Cultural Society is sponsoring a handmade spaghetti dinner from noon to 4 p.m. at the Palermo Banquet Center at Christ the Good Shepherd, St. Lucy Church, 394 Tenney Ave., Campbell. Takeouts will be available until 3:30; take containers or containers can be purchased. Dinners are $8 for adults and $4 for children under 12.

TAKING ORDERS

Lydia Circle of Girard First United Methodist Church, 22 N. Market St., is taking orders for individual-size ham loaves for $2 each. Orders will be taken through May 6 at the church by calling 330-545-4361. Pickup will be from noon to 3 p.m. May 12.

Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 381 Robbins Ave., Niles, will host a pizza sale from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. May 2 at the church education center. Homemade red pizza is $6; potato, spinach, spinach with raisins, hot spinach, combo (potato and spinach) and hot combo calzones are $10 each. Call 330-652-2811 to order by 7 p.m. Monday.

Greenford Lutheran Church, 7450 W. South Range Road, near the corner of Route 165 and Lisbon Road, will host its annual chicken pot pie supper May 3. The menu includes mashed potatoes and gravy, coleslaw, applesauce and pie or cake. Tickets are $8.50 for adults and $4 for children 3 to 11. Kids under 3 eat for free. St. Joseph the Provider School is sponsoring a stuffed cabbage dinner from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. May 4 at St. Anthony of Padua, 1125 Turin Ave., Youngstown. The menu includes mashed potatoes, vegetable, salad and dessert. Entertainment will be provided by the Jack Vasko Band. Takeouts will be available.
