15 year old tells Boardman cops: 'I sell weed'
BOARDMAN
Boardman police arrested a 15-year-old boy for trafficking in marijuana at school, a fourth-degree felony.
Joshua Conrad of Southern Boulevard in Boardman is in juvenile detention for the charge.
Police responded to Boardman High School at about 12:30 p.m. April 22 for a student in possession of marijuana at school, according to a police report.
The assistant principal at the high school told police Conrad purportedly tried to sell the drug to another student.
She discovered five individually wrapped bags of suspected marijuana on Conrad.
Conrad admitted to the principal that he brought the drugs to school with intent to sell them, which he also admitted to police.
He denied actually offering the marijuana to another student.
When police asked Conrad if he was employed anywhere he told them, “Well, I sell weed,” according to a police report.
