St. Christine will host dinner fundraiser

St. Christine Parish, 3165 S. Schenley Ave., is hosting an Evening in Uganda Dinner at 6 p.m. May 2.

The event is a fundraiser to aid in the construction of a water cistern to provide clean safe water to the school children of St. Thomas Kyezimbire-Kenyena Parish in Uganda, the sister parish of St. Christine.

The dinner will feature East African food, the Harambee Dancers of Youngstown, a basket auction, silent auction and more.

The cost is $25.
