OSU extension will offer free classes


CANFIELD

Ohio State University Extension Office Mahoning County, 490 S. Broad St., is hoping to offer an Expanded Food and Nutrition Education Program to families with infant children through age 18.

There will be eight classes to each session that will give healthy tips on nutrition, meal planning, shopping ideas, increasing physical activity, parenting tips, food safety and resource management to those on a low budget. Participants will taste foods and take home gifts.

Classes also are offered in Columbiana, Portage, Summit and Stark counties.
