Optimists will host wine tasting

SPECIAL TO THE VINDICATOR The Austintown Optimist Club is sponsoring a wine taste fundraiser from 7 to 10 p.m. April 25 at the Saxon Club, 710 S. Meridian Road. Club members Dick and Nancy Stoy, above, are helping to prepare for the event. Tickets are $35 per person in advance or at the door. Food, a 50-50 raffle and basket auction also will take place. All proceeds will benefit the youth of Austintown for school activities including sports and scholarships.
