Amateur Radio Club will conduct classes for license exam

AUSTINTOWN

The Western Reserve Amateur Radio Club will conduct classes for the General Class License exam in June if licensed technicians want to participate in Ham Radio’s Annual Field Day.

Classes will take place from 7:30 to 9 p.m. at ITT Technical Institute, 1030 N. Meridian Road, Austintown. They will begin May 7 and run through June 11. The classes will be taught by an American Radio Relay League registered instructor, and the exam at the end will be administered by local ARRL Volunteer Examiner Coordinators.

There’s no cost for the class, but you must register by May 3 and buy the General License Class book by Gordon West, WB6NOA.
