Girl Scouts seek Daisy members

Girl Scouts of North East Ohio is now recruiting girls for Girl Scout Daisy troops that will be forming this fall.

A Daisy is any girl entering kindergarten or first grade who accepts the Girl Scout Promise and Law and is a registered member of the Girl Scouts of the USA. Annual dues are $15.

The first step is to register for the summer program, Welcome to Daisy Girl Scouts. The cost is $25, which covers membership through September 2015.

It can take several months for a new troop to get started. For information email membership@gsneo.org or call 800-852-4474. Financial assistance is available for families that qualify.
