Boar’s Head Ladies of St. John’s Episcopal Church, 323 Wick Ave., Youngstown, will serve a chicken dinner from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the church. The meal consists of chicken, mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans, salad, bread and butter, pie and a beverage. The cost is $7. No reservations are necessary. Kinsman United Methodist Trustees will host a chicken and biscuit dinner from 4 to 7 p.m. at the church, 8362 Main St. Tickets are $7.50 for adults, $3.75 for children 4 to 12 and free for kids 3 and under. Takeouts are available; call 330-876-5641.

Pricetown United Methodist Church, 4640 Pritchard-Ohltown Road, Newton Falls, will serve a meatloaf dinner from 5 to 6:30 p.m. The meal includes mashed potatoes, vegetable, salad, rolls, homemade desserts and beverage. The cost is $7 for adults and $5 for kids 10 and younger. Carryouts will be available.

FRIDAY

American Legion Post 737, 16465 Milton Ave., Lake Milton, will serve the following meals from 3 to 7 p.m. Friday: all-you-can-eat fried fish with french fries or macaroni and cheese, coleslaw, rolls and beverage; chicken with fries, coleslaw, rolls and beverage; or shrimp with fries, coleslaw, rolls and beverage. Each meal is $8.50 for adults, $5 for children under 12 and free for those 3 and under. A fish sandwich with fries and coleslaw is $7, and a fish sandwich only is $5.

Argus Lodge 545, 5050 Shields Road, Canfield, will serve a fish dinner from 4 to 7 p.m. at the fellowship hall. The meal includes french fries, coleslaw, dinner rolls, dessert and coffee or soft drinks. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for 9 and under. Carryouts will be available by calling 330-533-3077. Proceeds will benefit the lodge education program.

Boy Scout Troop 71 will host its 50th annual Good Friday all-you-can-eat fish dinner from 4 to 7 p.m. at Western Reserve High School, 13850 W. Akron-Canfield Road, Berlin Center. Dinners are $10 for adults, $6 for ages 6 to 12 and free for children under 5. Takeout orders are available. Canfield Lions Club will have a fish fry from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. at A La Cart Catering, 429 Lisbon St., Canfield. Meals include a choice of baked or fried fish; french fries, macaroni and cheese, pirogi or haluski; and coleslaw, green beans, roll, dessert and beverage. The cost is $11.

TAKING ORDERS

Christ the Good Shepherd Parish at St. John the Baptist Church, 159 Reed Ave., Campbell, is taking orders for haluski from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. today. Call 330-726-5451 or 330-755-0036. Pickup will be from 10 a.m. to noon Friday. The cost is $5 per quart.

Church of Jesus Christ, 185 N. Canfield-Niles Road, Austintown, will sell extra large homemade nut kolachi for $10 each. Drive-through pickup will be available from 4 to 6 p.m. Thursday and Friday, or until sold out. There is no need to order. Kolachi has been flash frozen; just thaw and serve.

Greenford Lutheran Church, 7450 W. South Range Road, will host its annual chicken pot pie supper May 3. The menu includes mashed potatoes and gravy, coleslaw, applesauce and pie or cake. Tickets are $8.50 for adults and $4 for ages 3 to 11. Children under 3 eat for free. Seatings will be at 4:30 and 6 p.m. Tickets are available at the church office from 9 a.m. to noon; advance reservations can be made by calling the church at 330-533-5324. Walk-ins are welcome, based on availability.

Kommunity 4 Kids will sponsor a spaghetti dinner and basket auction from 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. April 27 at St. Patrick Center, 315 N. Main St., Hubbard. Carryouts are available from 4 to 6 p.m. Advance tickets are on sale for $6 through Thursday; they will be $7 at the door. Tickets are available at Kilar Fab and The Gentry in Hubbard.
