Year-round STEM school will open in 2015

YOUNGSTOWN — The Mahoning County Educational Services Center will open a year-round Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics school in August 2015.

MCESE was of seven applications that was accepted by the Ohio STEM committee this week.

The Valley STEM+ME2 Academy will open its doors to 100 students in the 9th and 10th grade the first year. The school will focus on manufacturing and engineering emphasis on entrepreneurship.
