ABWA prepares for basket auction

SPECIAL TO THE VINDICATOR Members of the Mill Creek Chapter of the American Business Women’s Association planning committee, from left, Mandy Codespote, Judy Codespote and Mary Brown, chapter president, are holding some of the items being prepared for a basket auction. The event will take place April 27 at the Ursuline Center, 4280 Shields Road in Canfield. Doors will open at 12:30 p.m. for bidding, and the auction of more than 100 items will begin at 3 p.m. Items were donated by chapter members and local businesses. Raffle tickets and light refreshments are included in the $5 admission. Extra tickets for raffle and cash door prizes can be purchased. All proceeds will benefit Mill Creek ABWA’s education fund.
