SENIOR CITIZENS

AARP 4611 East will meet Wednesday at St. Augustine Episcopal Church, 614 Parmelee Ave., Youngstown. An executive board meeting will begin at 11 a.m., and lunch and a meeting will follow at noon. The speaker will be Ronnie A. Hunter, a social worker with Hospice of the Valley. Raffle tickets and money are due, and the second payment is due for the Detroit trip. Coitsville Seniors will meet at 12:30 p.m. Thursday at Belleria Pizza and Italian Restaurant, 725 McCartney Road, Campbell. Jane Orlo will preside. Members will order from the menu. Devotions will be given by Blanche Sylvester. April birthdays and anniversaries will be acknowledged. A 50-50 drawing will take place before card bingo. Croatian Pensioners will meet at noon Thursday at the Croatian Home on Vestal Road. Anniversaries and birthdays will be observed, and cards and bingo will be played.

Girard Senior Citizens Club will meet at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Eagles Aerie, 26 W. Wilson Ave. April birthdays and anniversaries will be recognized, and 50-50 tickets will be sold. An attendance prize will be given, and bingo and cards will be played.

Liberty 55-Plus Club will meet at 11:30 a.m. Thursday at First Christian Assembly Church, Cardinal Drive, for its annual spring meeting. Kay Herberger will preside. Hostesses are Dolly Rebraca and Betty Sferra. Cards will be played, and April birthdays will be acknowledged.

Local 2243 Retirees of U.S.W.A. Copperweld Steel Co. (S.O.A.R. Chapter 1-28-10) will have a regular monthly meeting at 1 p.m. Thursday at the Local 1375 Union Hall, 684 N. Park Ave., Warren. Doug Franklin, mayor of Warren, will be the guest speaker. Refreshments will be served. Take old pill bottles.
