The 2014 Mahoning Valley Walk Multiple Sclerosis, presented by Novartis, is April 26 at Scrappers Stadium at 111 Eastwood Mall Blvd. Check-in begins at 8 a.m.

The Ohio Buckeye Chapter of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society is hosting Walk MS to raise awareness and funds for local programs, services and medical research, said Janet Kramer, chapter president.

The event is also an opportunity to inspire others to join the fight against multiple sclerosis and to show support to those living with the chronic, unpredictable disease of the central nervous system, said Guyla Wehman of the Ohio Buckeye Chapter in Independence.
