Gentiles will mark 66th anniversary

Mr. and Mrs. Pat Gentile of Struthers will mark their 66th wedding anniversary Thursday.

The former Marian Caggiano, also known as Honey, married Mr. Gentile on April 17, 1948, at St. Lucy Church in Campbell.

Their children are Patrick (Denise) Gentile of New Middletown; Mike (Lori) Gentile of Lowellville; Carole (Pat) Patterson of Fresno, Calif.; and Laraine (Gary) Solvesky of Poland. They also have 12 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Gentile worked as a registered nurse in the neonatal intensive care unit of St. Elizabeth Health Center and retired in 2007.

She is a member of Italian Mothers Club and the National Association of Catholic Nurses.

The couple are members of Christ Our Savior Church.

Mr. Gentile was a carpenter for Bertram Builders in Youngstown and is retired. He was a U.S. Navy Seabee.
