Quaker City Castings has promoted three new officers from within the company.
Geoff Korff, who has worked at the company since 2009, will replace his father, Joseph Korff, as president. Joseph Korff will take on the position of chairman after retiring from his previous post.
Dave Lordi, who previously served as general manager, has become vice president of operations.
Pat Mellish, formerly the company’s sales manager, is now vice president of sales.

Steven Mowry was named first vice president at Merrill Lynch.
Mowry, a 2003 Youngstown State University graduate, joined the wealth management company in 2004.

Herbert, Rowland & Grubic Inc. recently named Daniel D. Santoro director of land development services.
Santoro, formerly the vice president and manager of Delta Development Group Inc.’s Pittsburgh office, will be responsible for the sales, marketing and project delivery across Pennsylvania, Ohio, West Virginia and the surrounding states.

David Melidona has joined Real Living Volpini Realty Group as a new agent.
Melidona, who recently earned his real-estate license, previously worked in sales and leasing at Preston Volkswagen and as a pharmacy technician at East Side Pharmacy.

HAIR STYLING
Teri Telega of Poland won honorable mention as a finalist in Sport Clips Haircuts’ “The Look” national competition.
Telega was one of the six stylists selected from a pool of more than 11,000 Sports Clips professionals to make it to the final showcase. She won $500 and hairstyling tools as a prize.
