Billboard change

BOARDMAN

The mannequins on the Farmers National Bank billboard near the Southern Park Mall are in for a big change, and it’s up to the public to decide exactly what that is.

The original mannequin, a rock climber named Ben, originally appeared on the U.S. Route 224 westbound display in 2010. He since has been joined by his wife, Emma, and the couple’s dog.

Now, the public will be able to decide whether Ben and Emma adopt a cat, go on vacation, get another dog or have a baby.

Voting is open through April 30 at www.farmers-bankgroup.com. The winning selection will be featured on the billboard this summer.
