Worship service today for those 'harmed by toxic trespass'

The Rev. Monica Beasley–Martin will lead a worship service at 10 a.m. today at 140 East Church Street, to remember those “harmed by toxic trespass.”

Beasley-Martin and other local environmentalists are concerned about a possible spill from a pipeline Niles City Council approved in December that will cross under the Niles Greenway bike path.

The agreement with Halcon Field Services allows the company to use the pipeline for oil, gas, water or other other things moved through pipelines.
