Torch Club will meet for presentations

Youngstown Torch Club will meet April 21 in the Bresnahan rooms at Kilcawley Center, One University Plaza, Youngstown State University.

A social hour will begin at 5:30 p.m., and dinner will be at 6.

The winner of the club’s recent YSU Student Essay Scholarship Competition will be awarded $1,000 and will present the winning essay.

There also will be a debate about “Strong Central Government is Anathema to Individual Liberty,” featuring John Fockler and Charles Darling.
