The Creative Arts Department at Rising Star Baptist Church, 2943 Wardle Ave., will present “What Love” at 7 p.m. Good Friday, next Saturday and Easter Sunday. Doors open at 6 p.m.

The music department of West Austintown First United Methodist Church, 6749 Mahoning Ave., will present “King of Kings” Passion play during worship at 10:30 a.m. Palm Sunday.
The cast includes Ken Yoho as Jesus; Larry and Tyler Heitman, Roman soldiers; and John Blackann, narrator.
Also participating will be Mary Hallewell, accompanist; Valerie Wilson, director; and West Austintown Chancel Choir.
‘The Nails’
BOARDMAN
Trinity Fellowship Church, 4748 South Ave., will present “The Nails,” a dramatized performance, at 7 p.m. today and at 10:30 a.m. Palm Sunday.
Admission is free; an offering will be taken. Child care will be provided.
Stations of the Cross
CANFIELD
Canfield United Methodist Church, 27 S. Broad St., will present a display of Stations of the Cross from 5 to 7 p.m. Good Friday on the Green.
Participants will receive a brochure outlining the stations and accompanying scriptures. The Rev. Susan Brown, Canfield UMC minister, and volunteers will be available for prayer or conversation.
Families and individuals from Canfield UMC designed and created visual interpretations of 10 Scriptures that follow Jesus’ journey from betrayal to death.

Beulah Baptist Church, 570 Sherwood Ave., will present the “Last Seven Words” at 7 p.m. Good Friday.
Presenters will be the Rev. Martha Taylor of Metro Assembly of God, the Rev. Dr. Robin Woodberry of New Bethel Baptist Church, the Rev. Dr. M. Rosie Taylor of Christ Centered Church, Pastor James C. Bowie of Greater Friendship Baptist Church and the Rev. George Batchlor and Pastor Larry McCollum, both of World Fellowship Church.

Five area United Methodist churches will participate in a Good Friday service at 7 p.m. at Trinity United Methodist Church, 30 W. Front St. Also participating are Centenary, Mahoning Avenue, Richard Brown and Korean United Methodist churches.
The worship will incorporate African-American, Asian, Hispanic and Anglo voices from different congregations in telling the story from the point of view of Peter’s mother-in-law, the leper who was healed by Jesus, Nahum’s daughter and Levi, the son of Alphaeus.
