Amateur Radio Day instructional workshop Friday

An instructional workshop to show aspiring radio operators will take place next week.

ITT Technical School, 1030 N. Meridian Road, is hosting an instructional demonstration during, “World Amateur Radio Day,” Friday on its campus from 4 to 7 p.m. Members of Mahoning County Amateur Radio Emergency Services will handle the demonstration.

A news release said the area has several amateur radio clubs, which can help interested people obtain an amateur-radio license to broadcast. Questions will be answered by Mahoning County Amateur Radio members, and additional information will be available at the event.
