Truck damages Rite Aid drive-through

YOUNGSTOWN — A Velvet Ice Creams truck driver thought he had enough room to get by a Rite Aid drive-through pharmacy this morning.

He was wrong.

Instead, his truck hit the building on Mahoning Avenue causing extensive damage to the outside and even some damage to the building's interior. No injuries were reported in the accident.

The drive-through will remain closed.

National Fire and Water is at the pharmacy attempting to fix the structure to make it stable.
