Fire at Alameda Avenue intentional

YOUNGSTOWN

Fire reports said a blaze at a 445 Alameda Ave. home on the North Side was intentional.

The fire happened at about 7:35 p.m. Wednesday and caused $5,000 in damage.

Crews found a fire in the dining room, which was quickly extinguished, but there was heavy smoke damage.

An elderly woman who lives there came home while firefighters were putting out the fire, reports said.
