Final change to Paramount Theatre demolition contract

YOUNGSTOWN

The board of control approved a final contract change with the Garfield Heights company that demolished the former Paramount Theatre.

The panel approved the modification Thursday, making the amount paid to Baumann Enterprises $744,660.

Charles Shasho, deputy director of public works, said the lot where the theater stood still must be paved and lighting installed.

Landscaping also is planned.
