Brier Hill Cultural to host talk by author


YOUNGSTOWN

The Brier Hill Cultural Center will host a talk by author Thomas Welsh at 10 a.m. Saturday at the facility’s main hall, 145 Jefferson St.

Welsh is co-author of the newly released book “Classic Restaurants of Youngstown.” He will share highlights from the book, which provides a historical overview of the city’s restaurant industry from 1945 to the present. Signed copies of the book will be available for purchase at the event, which is part of the BHCC’s monthly Brier Hill Breakfast Series.

The admission fee of $5 includes refreshments.
