MAHONING COUNTY

Austintown

Dinner with the Easter Bunny, 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Quaker Steak and Lube, 5800 Interstate Blvd. An indoor bounce house, photos with the Easter bunny, egg coloring (while supplies last) and goodie bags will be offered.

Easter Eggstravaganza egg hunt and party, 11 a.m. Saturday, Clare Bridge Austintown, 1420 S. Canfield Niles Road. Take an Easter basket or bag. Refreshments will be provided. Call Sonya Bennett for information at 330-270-1448.

BOARDMAN

Easter Eggstravaganza, 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday, Maag Outdoor Theatre, Boardman Park, 375 Boardman-Poland Road. Games, Bounce-A-Rounds and activities will start at 1 p.m. Egg Hunt starts at 2 p.m. for age 2 and under; age 3-5, 2:15 p.m.; age 6-8, 2:30 p.m.; and age 9-12, 2:45 p.m. A concert by Greater Life Church will follow.

Follow the Bunny Easter photos, 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Mon.-Sat. and 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sun., through April 19, Southern Park Mall, 7401 Market St.

Caring Bunny event, 9 to 10:30 a.m. Sunday, Southern Park Mall, 7401 Market St. Children with special needs will be offered a subdued environment to participate in the Bunny Photo Experience. Sensory triggers will be reduced during the event, including turning off in-mall music, eliminating lines through the use of a numbering system, and special activities geared toward the needs of the child during the wait period. The F5RS Bunnies in Baskets group will bring therapy rabbits to interact with the children.

Easter Egg Hunt, Thursday, Bob Evans, 7347 California Ave. Age 1 to 3 will begin at 4:30 p.m.; 4 to 7, 4:45 p.m.; and 8 to 12, 5 p.m.

CANFIELD

Easter egg hunt, 10 a.m. April 19, Lord of Life Church, 550 N. Broad St. Children through age 12 welcome. Bring your own basket. The Easter Bunny will make an appearance. Rain or shine.

Dairy Queen egg hunt, 11:30 a.m. April 19, Canfield Dairy Queen, 101 S. Broad St. Castle on a Cloud Entertainment will provide a “Snow Queen” to sing a song before the Egg Hunt begins. For children through age 10. Candy, eggs and a raffle will be offered. For information, call 330-533-6647.

LAKE MILTON

Annual Easter Egg Hunt, 1 p.m. Saturday, Lake Milton American Legion, 16465 Milton Road. For children under 10 only.

NORTH LIMA

Easter Egg Hunt and Egg Toss, 11:30 a.m. to noon Saturday, football field behind the old South Range High School, 11836 South Ave. The hunt will offer prizes and candy for children 2 to 11 years old, and an egg toss will be offered for those 12 and older. More than 10,000 eggs will be prepared.

POLAND

Easter Egg Hunt sponsored by Poland Junior Women’s Club, 1 p.m. Saturday, Poland Town Hall gazebo and grounds, 308 S. Main St. Children through fourth grade are welcome. Bring a basket for collecting eggs. Visit www.pjwc.org for information.

Community Easter Egg hunt, 9:15 to 10 a.m. April 19, Poland United Methodist Church, 1940 Boardman-Poland Road. Free hunt with more than 8,000 eggs, and featuring prize baskets and a visit by the Easter Bunny.

STRUTHERS

Easter Egg Hunt with the Easter Bunny, 11 a.m. Saturday, Struthers High School Football Field, 111 Euclid Ave.

Easter egg hunt sponsored by Marian Council 3813 Knights of Columbus, 1 p.m. Saturday, Holy Trinity Church grounds, 250 N. Bridge St. For children age 1 to 10. Bring your own bags or baskets for carrying eggs. Special prizes will be offered for special eggs.

YOUNGSTOWN

Community Easter egg hunt, 11 a.m. to noon Saturday, Heritage Presbyterian Church, 1951 Mathews Road. For children 11 and younger. Free. Games, crafts and prizes will be available. Weather permitting, the event will be outside; in inclement weather, it will be moved to the church’s fellowship hall.

St. Dominic Church and ICU Block Watch community Easter Egg Hunt, 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday, at 59 E. Lucius Ave., Youngstown. Each child will leave with a bag of candy; other prizes, such as bikes, also are available to win.

Wick Park Neighborhood Association Easter Egg hunt, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Wick Park, near Fifth and Park avenues. Youngstown city Councilman Nate Pinkard and Councilwoman Annie Gillam will host a hunt for children age 1 to 12. The hunt will begin at noon, with children grouped by age with staggered start times. Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult. First 200 children registered will receive a goody bag. Take a basket and dress for the weather.

Community Easter Egg Hunt, 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Wedgewood Park Evangelical Congregational Church, 1944 S. Meridian Road. For children age 4 through grade six. There will be no rain date. Call 330-799-1114 for information.

HUBBARD

Girard Parks and Recreation Department Easter Egg Hunt, 3 p.m. Saturday, Girard City Gym, 100 W. Main St. For children age 3 to 8 who reside in Girard.

LIBERTY

Easter Bunny arrival, 10 a.m. Saturday, township administration building, 1315 Church Hill-Hubbard Road. Liberty Township children are invited to attend; parents are asked to bring their own cameras. Co-hosted by Liberty Township and the Liberty Township Historical Society.

Free Communitywide Easter Extravaganza, 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday, Pleasant Valley Church, 2055 Pleasant Valley Road. The 10,000-plus egg hunt is for all ages. Free food, music, balloons, inflatables, Starbucks bingo, prize giveaways, pictures with the Easter Bunny, information on local businesses and ministries, games and activities will be available. Eggs in the Mall Easter Egg Hunt sponsored by The Movement, 9 to 10 a.m., April 19, Eastwood Mall, 5555 Youngstown-Warren Road. Event will include 50,000 eggs, face painting, bounce arounds, crafts, and appearances by the Easter Bunny, Captain McFinn and Scrappy. Tickets are $1 for children under 11, available at the mall’s Customer Service Center in the Center Court.
