Girard cop's wife in court in underage drinking case


GIRARD

The wife of a patrol officer who was suspended after police raided a teen drinking party at his house was in court Wednesday.

Kandy Neely, wife of officer Larry Neely, is charged with hosting the Feb. 8 party, which was in a garage behind her house.

Police said there were 19 underage people in the garage.

Kandy Neely appeared in Girard Municipal Court for a pretrial hearing, which was reset to May 29.

Michael Dulaney, Larry Neely’s 18-year-old stepson, was also charged with hosting. His case is set for a pretrial hearing May 7.
