Church is sponsoring a walk and lunch

YOUNGSTOWN

Faith Community Covenant Church, 1919 E. Midlothian Blvd., is sponsoring a walk and lunch Saturday to benefit Xavior Beck, a 1-year-old who needs a heart transplant.

The walk will begin at 9 a.m. at the church and will go to IGA and return, about four miles.

A light meal will be served from noon to 2 p.m. at the church. It will consist of tuna or chicken sandwiches, chips and punch or coffee.

Donations are requested of $12 for ages 17 and older for the walk and meal and $6 for 16 and under.

For the meal only donations are requested of $6 for ages 17 and older and $3 for 16 and under.

Pay at the door at noon or in advance at the church.
