Party Friday will help Second Harvest

Magic Tree Pub & Eatery, 7463 South Ave., will host the Big Tap In party from 7 to 10 p.m. Friday featuring Fast Freddie as disc jockey.

The event will benefit Second Harvest Food Bank’s Harvest for Hunger campaign.

For every five cans of food donated, participants will receive one ticket that will be entered into a drawing for VIP tickets, hotel rooms for the night of The Big Tap In, T-shirts and more.

Harvest for Hunger is one of the largest annual community-wide food and funds drives in the nation, and takes place in 21 counties in northeast Ohio during March and April.

The campaign is a collaborative effort of four food banks, including Second Harvest Food Bank of the Mahoning Valley. All funds raised and food collected will remain in Columbiana, Mahoning and Trumbull counties.
