OCCHA will host community health fair

YOUNGSTOWN

The Hispanic American Civic & Cultural Organization Inc., 3660 Shirley Road, will host a Community Health Fair from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday.

It will include information on early detection, blood pressure checks, body mass index, glucose and cholesterol tests. Screenings and measurements will be conducted privately.

There also will be a free breakfast, baked goods and giveaways.

The seminars will be bilingual and will feature topics of breast cancer, from 9 to 10:15 a.m.; what to do when your child gets sick, from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m.; health at home, from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.; and what you need to know about sexually transmitted infections, from 12:30 to 1 p.m.

Services received are not a substitute for individualized professional medical care by the participant’s personal physician.
