Hubbard sets roadwork priorities

The city is preparing to solicit bids for road resurfacing.

City council voted at its Monday meeting to prepare legislation that would allow it to solicit bids for 15 streets.

Mayor John Darko said the city will do more streets if it can, or it may not be able to do them all.

“It just depends on how it prices out,” he said.

The city has estimated $259,090 for the road work.

The streets that are on the priority list are:

Simler Street.

Dorchester Drive.

Meadowland Drive.

Melody Lane.

Scott Street.

Hall Avenue.

Helen Drive.

Belle Vista Drive.

Oak Knoll Drive.

Raymond Drive.

Moore Street.

Gary Drive.

Saul Drive.

West Water Street.

School Street.
