SENIOR CITIZENS

1418 Auxiliary Seniors≠≠ will meet at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday at St. Nicholas Great Hall on Fifth Street in Struthers. John Texter will preside. Cancellations must be made today by calling Sandy Redeske at 330-755-5192. Birthdays and anniversaries will be acknowledged, and cards and bingo will be played. Illness or deaths should be reported to Pat Bozichovich at 330-755-7552. Dues of $5 for 2014 will be collected in April and May.

AARP 3104 of Canfield will meet at 1 p.m. Monday at Canfield Presbyterian Church. Blood pressure screening will be available from noon to 12:45. Tom Pauley, former president of Ponderosa Park Music, will speak of the many shows and the artists who performed at the park. There is a “Mystery” bus trip May 20. For information call 330-533 4413. ON Wednesday and Thursday there will be an overnight trip to Lancaster, Pa., which includes two shows, “Moses” and a comedy, “Anybody for Murder.” Call 330-337-7133. Nonmembers and guests are welcome at the meetings and the bus trips. There will not be a board meeting in April.

Fowler-Vienna Senior Citizens Club meets at 9:30 a.m. each Thursday at Fowler Community Center to play cards and games, to celebrate birthdays and anniversaries and for a 50-50 raffle and meals. Special meals are served on the fourth Thursday of each month. Those who are 55 and older are welcome. Annual dues are $12.

SOAR 27-2 and 27-6 Steelworkers Retirees Local Union 1330 and 1331 will meet at 1 p.m. Monday at Smith Corners United Methodist Church, 3000 S Niles-Canfield Road. Refreshments will be served. New members are welcome.

St. Anthony Senior Club will meet at 1 p.m. Tuesday in Faini Hall. Luncheon will be served at noon. Any member who hasn’t paid 2014 dues can pay at the meeting.

St. Joseph Goldenagers will meet at 11:30 a.m. Thursday in Lyons Hall with Evelyn Menaldi presiding. Carol McClain will give the thought for the day, and business reports will be given.
