In the Spartans’ win, Drew Wagner’s two hits included a double. Also with two hits were Brian Fryda, Evan Croutch, Scott Lendak and Mike Notar. Todd Price doubled for St. Edward’s. In the second game at Cene Park, Price doubled for the winners. Phil Dilianni had two hits for Boardman.

BELOIT
Billy Goodall’s three hits included a triple and double for the Raiders (3-0). He drove in two runs. Dan Macinga had two hits and two RBIs while Tyler Rothbauer (1-0) was the winning pitcher, allowing two hits in four innings. Rothbauer and Josh Fromel had two hits apiece. For the Warriors (0-3), Ryan Adams’ two hits included a double.
Canfield 3, Ashtabula Edgewood 1
STRUTHERS
Winning pitcher Alec Hammond gave up one hit in four innings. He struck out six for the Cardinals (3-0) at Cene Park. Jake Cole pitched two innings and Edmond Pilolli struck out three batters in the seventh inning. Alec Buchenic’s two hits included a triple.
Cardinal Mooney 3, North Canton Hoover 2
NORTH CANTON
Gino DiVincenzo led the Cardinals (3-0) with three hits and a RBI. Also knocking in runs were Ryan Megyesi and Drew Beck.
St. Thomas Aquinas 8-11, Salem 3-0
LOUISVILLE
In the first game, Anthony Moeglin had two doubles for the Knights. For the Quakers, Frank DiMarzio and Sam Pusateri each had two hits. In the second game, DiMarzio and Robby Kostiuk combined to throw a no-hitter for the Knights (4-1). DiMarzio homered and doubled.
