Raquel Morales, daughter of Lisette and Roberto Morales, all of Canfield, was united in marriage to Anthony Giunta of Brooklyn, N.Y., in an afternoon ceremony April 5. He is the son of Teresa and Anthony Giunta of Lexington, S.C.

Herbert Ortiz officiated at the wedding, which took place at Faith Community Covenant Church. A reception followed at Antone’s Banquet Centre in Boardman.

The bride’s mermaid-style satin gown featured embellished spaghetti straps.

Dana Polombi served as her honor attendant. Attendants all wore black long gowns with dark pink accents. Bridesmaids were Melissa Caraballo, the bride’s cousin; Kaileen Giunta, sister of the groom; Michelle Garcia, a cousin of the bride; Megan Malone; Marina Giunta, sister of the groom; Tiffany Morales, sister-in-law of the bride; and Toni Torres, cousin of the bride.

Serving as flower girls were Mia Rae Morales, the bride’s niece, and Jocelynn Torres, the bride’s cousin.

Casey Gerena, the groom’s cousin, was his best man, and serving as groomsmen were Derek Astorino, Tyler Youngren, Sean Callahan, Gregory Miller, Michael Pilotte, Joshua Morales, the bride’s brother; and Clayton Carter.

The bride graduated from Findlay University with a doctoral degree in pharmacy. She serves in the U.S. Army as a captain and works as a pharmacist in Augusta, Ga.

The groom graduated from The Citadel with a master’s degree in physician assistance. He is employed as a physician assistant at Aiken Regional Hospital in Aiken, S.C., and is a Reservist in the Army National Guard, where he achieved the rank of captain.

The couple are residing in Augusta, Ga.
