The Youngstown/Warren Regional Chamber and The Vindicator will host the 22nd annual ATHENA Award dinner on May 22 at Mr. Anthony’s Banquet Center, 7440 South Ave.
Diana Tremblay, General Motors vice president of global business services, will be the keynote speaker.
The award recognizes area business and professional women who distinguish themselves in terms of professional achievement, community service and support for professional women.
Business showcase

The Youngstown/Warren Regional Chamber is partnering with Youngstown State University and the Youngstown Business Incubator to host a business showcase May 1 at Mr. Anthony’s Banquet Center.
The main event, from noon to 4:30 p.m., is free.
Before the showcase, there will be a speed networking brunch at 10:15 a.m., followed by a networking presentation and group work at a cost of $25 for chamber members and $36 for nonmembers.

Evets Fabrication to show new facility
HUBBARD
Evets Fabrication Services, a VEC Inc. company, will host a grand opening of its new 22,000-square-foot facility at 500 Erie St. on Friday.
A ribbon-cutting and formal program will take place from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m., followed by tours and refreshments until 6:30.
Evets invested $3.2 million in the plant and plans to create 30 jobs at the plant, which will fabricate equipment for oil and gas and other industries.
Achievers USA will host event at DeYor
YOUNGSTOWN
Achievers USA, a professional networking and leadership organization, is hosting “Empowering Women in The Mahoning Valley” on April 24 at the DeYor Performing Arts Center in Youngstown.
The event will start with a mixer and cocktails from 6 to 7 p.m., followed by a program, featuring Dianna Kokoszka, CEO of MAPS Coaching and Keller Williams University at Keller Williams International.

Forum will address workplace violence
COLUMBIANA
The Columbiana Area Chamber of Commerce will host its Workplace Violence Community Forum from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. Monday at the Columbiana Public Library, 332 N. Middle St.
