Author will discuss book of restaurants
YOUNGSTOWN
The Brier Hill Cultural Center will host a talk by Thomas Welsh, co-author of the newly released book “Classic Restaurants of Youngstown,” at 10 a.m. Saturday at the facility’s main hall, 145 Jefferson St.
The admission fee of $5 includes refreshments. Parking will be available at the center.
Welsh will share highlights from the book, which provides a historical overview of the city’s restaurant industry from 1945 to the present. Signed copies of the book will be available for purchase at the event, which is part of the BHCC’s monthly Brier Hill Breakfast Series.
