Free pet food this afternoon in Austintown

AUSTINTOWN

Legacy Dog Rescue will have a dog-food giveaway from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Family Video, 4385 Kirk Road, in conjunction with the group’s monthly adoption event.

A limited supply of cat food will also be available.

Food will be given out on a first-come, first-served basis.

Recipients must meet eligibility guidelines to qualify for the food, including receiving some type of government assistance or unemployment compensation or, if benefits have expired, proof of having received them.
