Campbell police investigating possible theft of pitbull puppies

CAMPBELL — Police are investigating the possible theft of two pitbull puppies.

About 11:45 a.m. Thursday, police were called to a Chambers Street residence, where both the 45-year-old homeowner and a 29-year-old Robinson Road resident claimed their dogs, which are siblings, had been stolen.

The Robinson Road resident said her dog was at her house when an unidentified person or persons entered it and took the dog. She told police the door was unlocked.

The Chambers Street resident said her dog had been outside of the house, and she last saw it running up Jackson Street.
