Bond set at $2M in Ohio bus stop rape case

COLUMBUS (AP) — A judge has set a $2 million bond for a man accused of raping a 13-year-old Ohio girl while she waited for a school bus.

Defendant Antonio Fillmore was arrested based on a DNA match.

Judge Scott VanDerKarr of Franklin County Municipal Court set bond for the 36-year-old Fillmore at a hearing today. Fillmore was not required to enter a plea and was assigned a public defender.

Columbus police say the girl was waiting alone at a bus stop Tuesday morning when a man walked up to her, struck up a conversation, then forced the girl behind a vacant house where she was raped.
