UPDATE | Arrest warrant may be issued today in Struthers homicide

STRUTHERS — A man who lived at 145 Renee Drive was shot and killed early today.

Police would not release his name because all family members have not yet been notified.

Police were notified about 3:45 a.m. after a man went to Southwest Mercer County Regional Police in Farrell, Pa., and told them of the shooting.

That man is currently being treated in a Mercer County hospital and is being questioned by Struthers detectives, said Detective Ray Greenwood. He said an arrest warrant for the man may be filed this afternoon.

A neighbor next door said she heard a loud argument and then two booms about 2:45 a.m. today.

The death is the second homicide in Struthers in the last two weeks.
